200-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher | Pilates Teacher in Training
Hi, I’m Alyssa! I’m 27, born and raised in South Jersey, and currently living at the beach with my husband and our dog Auggie. When I’m not on the mat or working on our studio, you can usually find me in the kitchen trying out new recipes (I love to cook), spending time with family, or commuting to the Rowan area for my full-time role in my family’s screenprinting and embroidery business.
Yoga found me during a time when I needed it most—a space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with myself. What started as a way to feel more grounded quickly turned into a passion, and eventually, a calling. Pilates came into my life more recently, but it’s brought a whole new appreciation for movement and strength.
What keeps me connected to both practices is how deeply they align with my values: integrity, honesty, compassion, and the belief that real change happens through small, consistent choices. I’m a forever student at heart, always learning, always growing, and beyond excited to share this journey with others.

200-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher
Hi, I’m Dana! I’m 27 – a registered nurse by trade and a passionate yogi at heart. Newly engaged to my amazing fiancé, currently living in South Jersey. I’m a 200-hour YTT certified instructor, currently completing my 300-hour training. Before yoga, I played Division 1 soccer, a sport that was challenging and mentally tough, but often in ways that didn’t feel right for me. The first time I practiced yoga, I knew it was going to change my life.
Soccer was a forced grind, full of pressure to perform, and after college, I didn’t move my body in the form of exercise for nearly two years because movement felt like punishment. Yoga showed me a different way. A challenging, but joyful practice where I could witness my personal strength grow in a way that felt nourishing and empowering.
That first experience was an aha moment: this is where I’m meant to be, this is what intentional movement and mind-body connection should feel like. I knew then that yoga was going to be something bigger for me and that I was destined to open a studio where others struggling to find movement that works for their body could find it too.
Opening Pose Studio was rooted in the belief that movement is for everyone- gentle, welcoming, and free of judgment. A quiet space to return to yourself.
