200-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher | Pilates Teacher in Training

Hi, I’m Alyssa! I’m 27, born and raised in South Jersey, and currently living at the beach with my husband and our dog Auggie. When I’m not on the mat or working on our studio, you can usually find me in the kitchen trying out new recipes (I love to cook), spending time with family, or commuting to the Rowan area for my full-time role in my family’s screenprinting and embroidery business.

Yoga found me during a time when I needed it most—a space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with myself. What started as a way to feel more grounded quickly turned into a passion, and eventually, a calling. Pilates came into my life more recently, but it’s brought a whole new appreciation for movement and strength.

What keeps me connected to both practices is how deeply they align with my values: integrity, honesty, compassion, and the belief that real change happens through small, consistent choices. I’m a forever student at heart, always learning, always growing, and beyond excited to share this journey with others.

200-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher

Hi, I’m Dana, a registered nurse by trade and a passionate yogi at heart. I’m 27, newly engaged to my amazing fiancé, and currently living in South Jersey. I’m a 200-hour certified yoga instructor, now completing my 300-hour training.

Before discovering yoga, I played Division 1 soccer. The experience taught me discipline and resilience but left me searching for something more mindful and balanced. When I found yoga, it completely changed my relationship with movement. For the first time, I felt connected, grounded, and genuinely excited to move my body.

That first class was an aha moment. I knew yoga would be a lifelong practice and, eventually, a calling to create something bigger.

Pose Studio was built from that vision: a space where movement feels intentional, inclusive, and empowering. A place to quiet the noise, reconnect with yourself, and move in a way that feels good.
